BSW Music Network is a new streaming tv channel over the interweb. Featuring bands from all over Bristol and the South West & having only launched the channel just over 2 weeks ago and reached an amazing 82,000 views already, it's proving to be a hit!
Ollie started writing music over 10 years ago setting up the now well established Bristol based name INTERFACE.
After a year of hard work promoting INTERFACE got signed exclusivly to Lockdown Recordings. INTERFACE enjoyed several hit releases inc 'no more ghosts/want ur body' - 'visual sensors\jump up' and more, all getting played by top dj's including fabio/grooverider-roni size etc etc...
10 years later after taking a few years out (well, 6 years out to have kids) Ollie is forming a comeback of sorts, he is currently writing lots of new dubstep/drum&bass material, some of which is already recieving lots of support and radio plays...watch out for planned collaborations....big things for 2011.
Filming went ahead as scheduled for the music video to All About Flux's song Don't Come Back, easy to say it was the most fun we've had filming a music video! (You'll soon see why) We made a massive mess and a lot of noise, thankful the neighbours didn't mind too much. Editing on the video begin's this week and we'll have the final product posted right here for you very soon. At this point, we'd like to say a huge thank you to everyone who starred in the video - you did great, to all the behind the scenes crew for helping set up, Oaklea Developments for photography, the camera operator's and the biggest most enormous thank you to Jackie for her assistance in the clean-up operation!

Oui Ja Yes are an authentically live electro band from Glastonbury England – home of the International Music Festival of the same name.
They consist of two brothers – Sean and Kevin McGough – and their school friend Oli Miller.
All born and raised in Glastonbury their influences are predominantly based on bands they first saw or heard at the festival itself. Such as: The Chemical Brothers, Daft Punk, Justice, Crystal Castles, Does it Offend You, Yeah?, Velvet Underground, Holy Fuck, The Prodigy, The Stooges and many more.
Although a new band they have been quite prolific in their first few months and already have an albums worth of music ready and have recently produced their own demo – which has already received airplay on BBC Radio
The band has also been busy starting to build a live following across the UK – recently headlining part of the Bristol Oxjam Music festival.
The band are all living in Bristol now, to be closer to gigs and better venues but currently have gigs across the UK.
The bands ‘sound’ is best described as big and rocky with the right amount of catchy pop mixed in, but it should be noted that you haven’t truly heard this band till you’ve heard them live, which is when the true impact of the songs come to light.
Plug In 2010
In the few months the 4 piece have been together, they’ve already entered the studio to record their debut EP ‘the sky and colours’, received glowing reviews from venues they’ve played such as ‘the fleece’ and ‘the cooler’ in Bristol and have played 'the fiddlers elbow' on the camden stretch in London and were asked back to perform at 'Camden Rock', all that and their debut EP is being released on itunes in the next coming weeks.
The band is comprised of Tim Stevens on Vocals and Lead Guitar, Nick Ball on Bass and Synth, Ryan ‘The Anvil’ Manvill on Rhythm Guitar and Keyboard/FX and finally Sam Boughen on Drums.
Their past successes have helped them define their stage craft, and writing ability which gave them the confidence to have their debut performance be held in a city with the next batch of gigs being performed from Torquay to London receiving such reviews as:

Four-piece Somerset based indie band thesearchparty travelled the length of England for this charity gig in York to support ‘Honour Our Troops’. The guys write their own songs, are an amazingly level headed, extremely approachable and likeable bunch of talented musicians. They show intense energy on stage, and their opening song ‘The Terminal’ captivated the audience. The rhythm section was as solid as I’ve ever seen, with the immensely talented Sam Boughen on drums displaying a master class the likes of which the late Keith Moon would have been proud.
thesearchparty showed they know how to perform on stage and proved just why they are a band that are receiving rave reviews wherever they play and that they must surely be signed up to a label soon. The atmospheric and inspirational ‘The Air Between Us’ would make an awesome debut single, as well as already becoming a fantastic live track. This band produces powerful melodic anthems that glitter with presence and huge majestic swathes of sound, ranging from irresistible primeval beats through to sheer volumes of music. Taut razor-edged playing, strong vocals and powerful high-tempo songs, this is indie music at its best.

This Pop/Punk fuelled band All About Flux originates from the south west of the UK. Only a year into their existence as a five piece this young super talented band are showing the music scene what they are made of, they produce punchy lyrics that get stuck
in your head and accessible melodies and driving rhythm that grasps your ears.
The energy All About Flux generates on stage is electric and is truly captivating, they hold phenomenal presence and totally interact with their audience, yet are so versatile and easy to listen to with their feel good vibe it gives you the get up and go and attracts a wide varieties of audiences. They can pull any crowd into Flux!
Their original catchy tracks are in line with the pop mainstream sounds of today, with their fun pumped attitudes, they sure know how to integrate their music. All About flux have a driven urge to succeed and through their dedication they have inspired many people and now have a dedicated fan base.
They are a great representation of the youth of today as they involve themselves in many national and community projects becoming great role models and promoting the positive image of young people.
Since the release of their first video "On That Night" in september 2010 their fan base had grown a huge amount, followed by the release of "look who's laughing now" in october 2010. Immense reactions from fans has been overwhelming by gaining new fans from across the globe, this only shows positive signs for the future.
This bands pro-active approach to extending their fan base and getting their music out there through video, keeps them super charged and a step in front of many other bands, they have recently introduced live streaming at their gigs, where possible, enabling fans who don't want to miss any Flux action and fans can always feel a part of the bands movement up the ladder of success.

Meet the band
Esther 16 (feisty front woman) it is of no surprise that she won UK Open Mic in 2009. Her vocals are so controlled but full of punch, clearly recognisable and she executes those fabulous notes its enough to send all the hair on your body on end.
Sam B 19 (Guitarist / vocalist) Sam has a remarkable talent at creating catchy tracks with both melodic and aggressive tones, he's one to deliver those heart felt rift's. Vocally he has a pure tone and can tackle some of the most technical harmonies and he leaves you wanting more (in previous bands he has been the front man).
Tom 16 ( Guitarist / vocalist ) Tom is oozing with talent his soulful vocal and techniques in creating beautiful harmonies really bring extra depth to their music. Tom was once asked "is there anything you can't play?" Tom's response " i'm not great on the trumpet".
Matt 20 ( Bassist ) Matt delivers the deep sounds of the bass with his unique style and quirky stage presence he truly compliments the band and always executes the music with charm and passion.
Sam C 18 ( Drummer ) Sam gives All About Flux that punchy edge that separates them from the crowd, with his passion felt presence and mind blowing solo's he will keep the beat going with his oodles of energy and belting hits (be aware he needs watering and feeding plenty times a day).
During September of 2008 the band was formed, originally named FluX but forced to alter the name due to legal reasons and in March 2009 changed to ‘All About Flux’. Since then the band have improved and altered, writing a diverse range of songs over the past months playing in renowned venues such Bristol’s ‘The Fleece’ which has seen the likes of ‘The Killers’ and ‘Elbow’, ‘St Georges Theatre’, ‘The Hobbits’, Watchet Festival and headlined Revolution Festival.
In 2009 All About Flux became grand finalists in ‘Britain’s Live and Unsigned’ competition at the Guild Hall, Portsmouth (which has seen the likes of their major pop-punk influence ‘Paramore’perform). Esther went on to win in the UK Open Mic section of the competition. With the combined experience of all the band members they really are an unconventional young band for many reasons, but one that is the most clear is their history of performing in well respected bands at such a young age.
All About Flux are currently working towards their next single which is due to be released in February 2011 as part of their UK tour.
